TERMS OF USE
Welcome
These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Little Haunt game on the web (littlehaunt.com), iOS, and Android, and to this website (together, the "Game"). By playing the Game or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Game.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.
Your license to play
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to play the Game for your own entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Game, and you may not reverse-engineer it except where the law expressly permits.
Virtual items
Coins, skins, trails, hats, and other in-game items are virtual items with no real-world value. They cannot be exchanged for money, are not transferable, and may be changed or reset as part of game updates. Progress is stored on your device — deleting the app or clearing browser storage will erase it, and we are unable to restore lost progress.
Ads and purchases
The mobile apps may show optional rewarded ads (see our Privacy Policy) and may in the future offer in-app purchases such as "Remove Ads". Purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms, and their refund policies apply.
Beta versions
From time to time we may make pre-release ("beta") builds available. Betas are provided for testing, may be unstable, and progress made in a beta may be lost when the final version ships.
Our content
The Game — including the Little Haunt character, art, music, code, and name — is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. These Terms don't give you any ownership of it.
No warranty
The Game is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise the Game will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free (though we try — this little ghost is doing its best).
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data (including lost game progress), arising from your use of the Game. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the Game in the past twelve months.
Changes and termination
We may update the Game, these Terms, or stop offering the Game at any time. If we change these Terms, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
